Paper Sculpture
Below is a list of artists who came to mind in regards to working with paper. Although we are thinking about creating something that is 3d for project 1 I have included other artists who work with paper mostly in 2d for inspiration and reference. I found some of these artists from this post: http://www.thecoolist.com/papercraft-perfection-10-amazing-master-origami-artists/

Mrmama is Polish motion graphics guru Arkadiusz Nowakowski. He creates a striking result through toying with the tension between the building's structural reality and the 3d and 2d structures that he invents. Also there is an interesting stylistic play going on here between the classical architectural facade and the projected video game graphics circa early 1980s.
