The following intaglio prints demonstrate the range, variety and power of one of visual art's most abstract elements, line. Project one asks you to say a lot (variety, intensity) with a little (only line). I'm less concerned with the subject matter than your experimentation and investigation of line. If you are unfamiliar with any of these artists google them further or check out a book from Paley. See Picasso's Vollard Suite for more good examples.
