Project 05 Pitch List

All ideas due by the end of Friday:

1) Waking up and coming to class. (Ryan, tuc36261@temple.edu)

2) A kid walking into a classroom to take an exam...then scenes of him / her struggling with the test (like a swirling scene or something). Handing into the teacher...leaving the room. (Brett, tub98366@temple.edu)

3) we make a movie about making a movie. but here's the crazy part. the movie we are making a movie about making a movie is about making a movie. (Kevin, tua76593@temple.edu)

4) Someone brings in a shrinkray to class. (Alex, tub97541@temple.edu)

5) Everyone describing how they get to this class with expressive hand gestures (ex: if I were to pass the bell tower every day I would try to show you the scale of it with my hands as I am explaining it to you). (Derrick, tuc18191@temple.edu)

6) growth. Interpreted however (Francesca, francescavanstolk@gmail.com)

7) ??? (Laura, tud55347@temple.edu)

Now where to?

I think that Ryan and Francesca have pretty good ideas. We need to figure out what kind of scenes are going to happen in the minute and twenty seconds of the video. Ryan's is pretty easy to figure out (like waking up, getting dressed, biking/walking/driving, entering class, etc.) Francesca's is a lot broader and might be more difficult, but it could be very interesting.

I think that growth could be done really well through a flash animation. Don't know if we can do that? It would be cool if bodies acted as forms n in te end created a giant mass. Does that make any sense? Maybe it could be done as our path to class n when some people meet up along the way they group up until the end when were all in a big group? Again I think it would be best in a flash animation.

oh man guys. super sorry on my lack on this. I'm a little confused about the growth idea, but then again im sure we could also fit that in stylistically once we have an idea with where the direction this is going towards, but im down with going to class. It sounds super simple to film. Maybe we could add some dialog or score to it since this is a great opportunity to have a combination of sound and image. I dunno about a song but im a huge fan of waking life style dialog with minimal track behind it save for transitional interludes. If anyone else is leaning in this direction holler, maybe the person could even be talking to themselves kinda schizo-like to add humor and opportunity for imaging freedom.

We could also go with multiple people in a group running into each other. Or even Bob Dylan Movie "I'm Not There" style where each person represents the same character in different phases of the morning route to class.

also sent this out in email, feel free to respond there since I think our class checks that more? Im hoping?

Again my apologies.
